Pooja Kher is a passionate Montessorian with over 12 years of experience in training teachers and students in Montessori philosophy and techniques. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science from Delhi University, a Postgraduate degree in Computers from Nagpur University, a Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) in the Montessori Method, and a B.Ed from Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU).
Pooja began her professional journey in the IT sector but made a purposeful shift to the field of education to balance her career with raising her son. This transition marked the beginning of her deep-rooted commitment to early childhood education and the Montessori approach.
She has worked extensively with MMI and various Montessori schools across India, where she has led teacher training programs and conducted numerous workshops for educators. Her expertise lies in curriculum implementation, quality assurance, and empowering educators through meaningful, hands-on training.
Driven by a vision to educate teachers, mothers, and parents about the true nature and psychology of the child, Pooja believes in nurturing not just children, but the adults who guide them. Her mission is to inspire teachers to become more passionate, patient, and nurturing—enabling every child to reach their fullest potential in a prepared and respectful environment.

Modes Of Study
Regular Programme
The regular batches commence in the first week of April and October. We also facilitate modular batches, where one can join the regular course at the beginning of any of the 8 modules.
Duration:
Full Time: 6 months: Classroom training -300 hours.
Internship -200 hours
Distance Learning Programme
The distance learning batches commence in the first week of January and July and this is conducted only from Gurugram Head Office. Examinations are controlled by MMI London and MMI Singapore and are held in March and September every year.

Distance Learning: 9 months
Objectives of the Programme
The course aims to develop students with a high level of professional competence as teachers of the Montessori Method of Education to guide children aged 2.5 to 6 years.
- A strong foundation in Montessori principles and philosophy, and a basic understanding of child psychology.
- In-depth knowledge of the Montessori curriculum, and appreciation and understanding of the teaching aids developed by Dr Maria Montessori.
- Knowledge of the Montessori environment and the role of a Montessori directress/director.
