We follow a Montessori approach that encourages self-directed learning, hands-on activities and individual exploration. Our aim is to nurture curiosity, independence, and creativity in a supportive and structured environment.
The Montessori method fosters a love for learning by encouraging children to explore at their own pace and according to their interests. It helps develop key life skills such as problem-solving, self-discipline, social skills and independence, while promoting cognitive, emotional and physical growth.
Child safety is our top priority. We have highly trained staff, secure premises and robust safety procedures in place. Each classroom is designed with child safety in mind, including age-appropriate furniture, secure entry/exit points and constant supervision during play and activities.
We believe in open communication with parents. We provide regular updates on your child’s progress, including formal parent-teacher meetings, written progress reports and daily communication through apps or emails. We encourage parents to stay actively involved in their child’s learning journey.
Yes, all of our teachers are trained in Montessori principles and practices. Many also have additional qualifications in early childhood education to ensure they are equipped to meet the diverse needs of our children.
Our teacher-to-child ratio is designed to ensure each child receives the individual attention they need. The ratio varies depending on the age group but is always within the recommended standards to promote personalised care and attention.
Yes, we offer an Extended Preschool Programme with timings 9am – 6:30pm to support working families. This programme combines structured learning and play-based activities, allowing children to continue engaging in educational experiences beyond standard school hours.
A typical day at MMI Preschool includes a balance of structured learning activities, play-based exploration, outdoor play, and rest time. Each day is designed to foster cognitive, social and emotional development through a mix of individual, group and hands-on activities.
In addition to our Montessori-inspired curriculum, we offer a range of extracurricular activities such as music, dance, art and physical education. These activities help children develop a variety of skills, including creativity, coordination, and emotional resilience.
We provide nutritious, balanced meals that cater to the dietary needs of young children. All meals are prepared on-site and include a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, proteins and grains. We also accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies upon request.
Transitions are an important part of a child’s development and we make sure they are as smooth as possible. Our teacher’s works closely with parents to ensure that children are fully prepared for the next stage, whether it’s moving to a new classroom or transitioning to formal schooling.
The enrolment process is simple and transparent. You can start by filling out an enquiry form on our website. Afterward, we will schedule a tour of the preschool, answer any questions you may have, and assist you with completing the registration. Our team will guide you through every step of the process.
We follow a set academic calendar with holidays and closures for major public holidays, as well as a summer break and winter break. Parents are informed well in advance about any scheduled closures. We also provide holiday camps or special activities during extended breaks, if available.
We assess your child’s progress regularly through both formal and informal methods, including observations, assessments, and feedback from teachers. We work closely with parents to ensure that the child’s developmental milestones are being met and to make any necessary adjustments to their learning plan.
